Therapeutic Focus

Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy, Anxiety & Depression Support, Trauma Recovery, Relationship Issues, Stress Management

I’m a Registered Psychologist offering individual therapy for adults and teens. I specialize in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), a focused, evidence-based approach that helps clients work through stuck emotional patterns. I support people facing anxiety, depression, complex trauma, relationship challenges, and stress-related physical symptoms. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, grounded in the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth, healing, and change.

Psychotherapy for Individuals

I provide individual psychotherapy for adults seeking meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or a feeling of being stuck, therapy can help you get to the root of the problem and move forward with clarity and confidence.

Services include:

  • Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP)

  • Depth-oriented therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional overwhelm

  • Support during major life transitions (parenthood, separation, loss, career shifts)

  • Therapy for helping professionals seeking deeper personal insight and emotional resilience

Sessions are offered in person and virtually. I work with individuals on a weekly or twice-weekly basis, depending on need.

Clinical Supervision

I offer clinical supervision for therapists seeking support, growth, and greater confidence in their work. My primary orientation is Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), and I’ve completed a three-year Core Training with ongoing advanced supervision.

I’ve supervised students, residents, and early-career clinicians, and I bring a collaborative, reflective style to the supervision space. Whether you're new to ISTDP or looking to deepen your skills, I aim to support your development in a way that’s grounded, experiential, and clinically meaningful.

Please feel free to reach out if you'd like to explore working together.

Areas of Expertise

Areas of Expertise

Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP)

My clinical work is grounded in helping clients uncover and release emotional patterns that limit their lives. I have particular expertise in:

  • Anxiety and Emotional Dysregulation: Understanding the deeper emotional causes of anxiety and helping you regulate and reclaim emotional vitality.

  • Relationship Difficulties: Identifying recurring patterns, unspoken needs, and unconscious defenses that get in the way of connection.

  • Attachment and Early Wounds: Exploring how early relational experiences shape present-day challenges and cultivating new ways of relating.

  • Perfectionism and People-Pleasing: Addressing the roots of chronic self-monitoring, burnout, and difficulty asserting needs.

  • Parenting and Identity Shifts: Supporting parents—especially mothers—navigating identity, guilt, and the emotional complexity of caregiving.

My Approach

My work is deeply relational and emotionally attuned. I practice from a foundation in ISTDP (Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy), a powerful, research-supported method that helps uncover and resolve the emotional blocks that underlie many psychological difficulties.

But therapy isn’t just about uncovering pain—it's about discovering your strength, your capacity to love, to feel, to face life. I bring warmth, honesty, and grounded presence to the work, always moving at a pace that feels safe and productive.

Clients often tell me they appreciate my realness. I won’t sit back silently; I’ll be with you actively—curious, present, and engaged. Together, we’ll find a way through defenses, fear, and avoidance to help you reconnect with your inner truth and vitality.

My approach is shaped by the values that guide me personally and professionally—generosity, gentleness, genuineness, gutsiness, and grace. Therapy with me is a space where your full humanity is welcome.
